Halloween Buffet cum Party Organised by NGTHS Parent Support Group

The students and teachers of NVSS were treated to a fun and enjoyable Halloween buffet cum dinner organised by the NGTHS PSG. A lot of time and efforts were spent decorating the place (in a park) to make everyone feel the mood of halloween. A section of the park was booked exclusively for us, they invited face painters to paint our faces and brought in professional team to play beautiful music to hype up the atmosphere. It brought both staff and students from both schools including the PSG closer through this event.

Tony represented NGTHS to speak to everyone in presence before the commencement of the buffet

Day 3 Video Compilation

Day 2 Video Compilation

Thank you Ms Chong for compiling the day's activities into videos.
Here are three videos from Day 2. Enjoy : )

Second Day Of Homestay 30 Nov Friday

Today marks the end of the school programme in Vietnam. In the morning, the students went to school with their buddies. They then prepared a powerpoint presentation on their experiences in Vietnam so far. After the preparation, each group took turns to present.
This was followed by a simple but dignified farewell ceremony where our students performed two meaningful songs aptly titled "See You Again" and " Count On Me"

Below are some of the pictures sent by the students during their outing with their buddies this afternoon.

Videos showing our Students in Action

These are some videos which show our students in action taken over the last few days during the school programme. Sit back, relax and enjoy ...

It was markting time!

It was an eye opening experience for all of us. The market is humongous! We tried to slash prices. Some stall owners were very determined in getting us to buy their products.

After visiting VSIP, we get to try ur hands on paining ceramic plates.

The combined art pieces by our young artists.

Reflections From the Students: Very Reflective and Insightful

This trip is not just about enjoying and cultural immersion, it is also getting the students to reflect on their experience and what they see, learned in Vietnam. Below are some reflections by the students on some photos they have taken.

Our students definitely can reflect as seen from these below. It is very heartening to read their reflections
