The whole school was actually waiting anxiously to welcome us! The way we were received was totally overwhelming and warm! Gosh! It immediately brought us to smile widely and some of us were waving back to them as if we were celebrities!
As they seated down, we realised that they are very creative - sitting with small plastic make shift stools!
We were brought to their school hall and was entertained with colourful little welcoming concert which warms our hearts.
Mr Chen, our Principal was delievering his speech.
After which, the school celebrated Mr Chen's birthday by singing him a birthday song and presented him with a birthday gift. We could see that he is overwhelmed with emotions for a while.

This student crooned a very beautiful welcoming melody while her partner danced to the music as graceful as a swan.
With the fingers hitting gently on the keyboard, her friend accompanied her with a melodious tune strummed on her violin.

After all performances and a short break where we mingled with our future home-stay buddies, we were brought around the school for a tour.
The students in the classrooms welcomed us with a song! They were so excited in seeing us!

LUCH TIME
We were treated with lunch by our hosting school. The Muslims were given packed lunch sets.
